WILL YOUR OFFICE PROCESS MY DENTAL INSURANCE CLAIMS FOR ME?
Yes. With the insurance information you provide for us, our office is happy to submit your dental claims and pre-authorizations for treatment. We strive to achieve the highest compensation of your insurance benefits on your behalf, and we follow up on all claims.

WHAT TYPES OF PAYMENT DOES YOUR OFFICE ACCEPT?
We encourage the discussion of our dental treatment fees in advance. We accept cash, checks, and credit cards or debit cards at the time of service. Should you have an unexpected dental emergency or extensive dental treatment, we will work out a short payment schedule with you on an individual basis.

DOES YOUR OFFICE USE DIGITAL X-RAYS?
Yes. Our office uses Digital Radiograph Imaging technology. This assists us with superior dental images and enables us to use the highest quality x-ray diagnostic tool. Digital X-rays can easily be transferred electronically to a specialist or insurance.

HOW SAFE ARE DENTAL X-RAYS?
Exposure to all sources of radiation, including the sun, minerals in the soil, appliances in your home, and X-rays, can damage the body’s tissues. Fortunately, the dose of radiation you are exposed to during the taking of digital dental X-rays is extremely small.

WHAT TYPE OF FILLING MATERIAL DOES YOUR OFFICE USE?
All fillings placed in our office are tooth colored composite resin restorations. We do not use silver amalgam filling material in our practice.

DOES YOUR OFFICE DO DENTAL IMPLANTS?
Yes, our office completes the implant process by fabricating the implant crown or bridge restoration following implant placement by a highly trained and trusted dental implant specialist. We will coordinate your implant treatment appointments between the specialist’s office and ours.

DOES YOUR OFFICE DO TOOTH EXTRACTIONS?
We utilize our area oral surgical specialist for complicated extractions. We provide the referral for our patients and transfer any necessary records.

WHO WILL CLEAN MY TEETH AT MY FIRST APPOINTMENT?
Dr. Beck-Uhl will examine your teeth, and explain any necessary dental treatment, and one of our highly trained hygienists will clean your teeth.

HOW OFTEN SHOULD I HAVE A DENTAL EXAM AND CLEANING?
Most patients should have an exam and cleaning twice a year. Our patients with gum disease require more frequent cleaning appointments in order to maintain their dental health and increase the lifespan of their teeth.

IF I HAVE A DENTAL EMERGENCY, CAN I REACH THE DENTIST?
Yes, Dr. Beck-Uhl is available by cell phone for an emergency contact if you are an established patient of record with our office.
